Elizabeth Kameen ’26 of Dingmans Ferry has been named the 2026 Omicron Delta Kappa National Leader of the Year for Communications. Kameen is a 2024 initiate of the Moravian University O∆K Circle and will graduate in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science and a 3.93 GPA.
Kameen is managing editor for the the Comenian student newspaper and works as a writing consultant, offering peer support to student writers. She serves as secretary for Moravian’s literary magazine, The Manuscript, and is a co-founder and director of social media for Moravian’s Humanities Club.
Later this year, Kameen will also go to Pezinok in Slovakia as part of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship. She is one of two Moravian University students who will participate in the program’s English Teaching Assistantship later this year.
Jennifer Waller, president and CEO of Omicron Delta Kappa, said the National Leader of the Year for Communications award recognizes an “individual achievement that impacts and influences across our world.”
