On Saturday, October 28, Moravian welcomed families of current students to campus to celebrate Family Day. Students and their families had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast in the Dorm Circle and attend a meet-and-greet with our academic deans over doughnuts. The state of the university address, presented by President Bryon L. Grigsby ’90, P’22, P’26, allowed families to learn about Moravian and the exciting news on the Haupert Union Building Expansion Project alongside their students.
The Student Organization Parade then stepped off at Johnston Hall and wove through and around campus, drumming up Greyhound pride. After the parade, AMOS made an appearance at the tailgate lunch in the academic quad. Throughout the morning, a scavenger hunt of photo, trivia, and attendance challenges provided students with opportunities to show their loved ones their classrooms and the spaces they frequent in their day-to-day lives. Three scavenger hunt participants were chosen as winners to attend dinner with members of Moravian University leadership.
