For the second straight year, Moravian University’s Marketing and Communications team went up against some of the best—Swarthmore, Lehigh, Villanova, Franklin & Marshall, Syracuse, Bucknell. And on the evening of March 13, 2025, the team won seven honors at the 2025 CUPPIE Awards for creative excellence in marketing and communications, held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A total of 422 entries—encompassing everything from social media, to video, to advertising, to print publications, videos, website features, photography, writing, and more—were submitted for consideration.
CUPPIES have been awarded annually since 2005 by CUPRAP, College and University Public Relations Association of Pennsylvania, “a voluntary organization of communications professionals from colleges, universities and independent schools dedicated to advancing the understanding of higher education and enhancing the professional development of its members,” states its website. The competition is judged by industry professionals with no vested interest in the participating institutions or the work they’ve submitted.
This year, the Moravian University team won the following seven awards:
