New agreement opens affordable RN-to-BSN completion, graduate degrees, and undergraduate merit scholarships to UPMC’s workforce of more than 21,000 nurses and staff.
BETHLEHEM, PA—September 29, 2026—Today, Moravian University announced an academic partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), one of the nation’s largest health systems, to provide streamlined, affordable educational opportunities for UPMC employees, nursing graduates, and their families.
The partnership with the Pittsburgh-based health system is designed to drive workforce development and support career advancement across UPMC’s expansive network, comprising more than 40 hospitals, eight diploma schools of nursing programs, and over 21,000 nurses and staff.

Under the agreement, Moravian University will offer preferred tuition rates and streamlined admissions processes tailored to help working healthcare professionals achieve their academic and career goals.

• RN-to-BSN Tuition Discount: A dedicated tuition discount for current UPMC registered nurses (RNs) and recent graduates of any UPMC nursing school looking to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through Moravian’s flexible online program.
• Graduate & Degree Completion Savings: Preferred tuition pricing for all UPMC employees and their immediate family members enrolled in Moravian University graduate degree programs and adult degree completion courses.
• Undergraduate Merit Scholarships: Exclusive merit scholarship opportunities for UPMC employees and family members admitted as full-time undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree at Moravian.
