Moravian University President Bryon Grigsby ’90, P’22, P’26, P’29 has been named one of the most accomplished and influential business leaders in the Lehigh Valley by LVB 300, a Lehigh Valley Business recognition program.
The publication’s editorial team selected outstanding individuals who have demonstrated sustained success and adaptability in the face of economic change and a deep commitment to their industries and communities.
The program recognizes 300 professionals from 25 categories, including arts and entertainment, corporate and business law, education, economic development, healthcare, and more.
Grigsby has served as president of Moravian University since 2013, overseeing major growth and development at the institution, including the institution’s 2021 conversion from a college to a university, last year’s acquisition of Lancaster Theological Seminary and formation of the Moravian University School of Theology, and the opening of the expanded Haupert Union Building last October.
Under Grigsby’s tenure, full-time enrollment has risen 51 percent, making Moravian the fastest-growing university in the region. Additionally, the institution’s endowment now exceeds $180 million. Recent program launches include a School of Professional Studies and Innovation, and an aviation management and pilot training program starting this fall.
