
Moravian and UPenn are the only PA schools with Millennium cohorts in the Class of 2025
BETHLEHEM, PA, September 30, 2025: Today, Moravian University announced that eight undergraduate students have been selected for the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2025. The Millennium Campus Network (MCN) and United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) present the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2025 that help make the Sustainable Development Goals and UNAI Principles a reality on campuses, in classrooms, and throughout communities. Moravian University joins the University of Pennsylvania as the only universities in the state of Pennsylvania with Millenium cohorts for the class of 2025.
This year’s Millennium Fellows were selected from among a record-breaking 60,396 applicants from over 7,500 campuses across 160 countries to participate in this ambitious program that helps make the Sustainable Development Goals and UNAI Principles a reality on campuses, in classrooms, and throughout communities. Only 290+ campuses worldwide (just 4%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

UNAI’s 10 principles, along with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs, inform the student-led community projects that the fellowship’s global network and resources support. Among the program’s more than 4,000 students, who together represent more than 290 campuses in 47 nations, are the following Moravian University fellows:

Millennium Fellows are university undergraduates selected for their leadership on sustainable development-related projects that advance the SDGs in their communities. As Millennium Fellows, the Moravian University undergraduate students will participate in a semester-long leadership development program to improve their student organizing, partnership building, and community impact skills.
