Students, alumni, and faculty from Moravian University received multiple honors at the 2026 American Advertising Federation Greater Lehigh Valley (AAFGLV) American Advertising Awards, a juried competition recognizing excellence in advertising, design, and creative communication across the region.
Known as the ADDY Awards, the annual event showcases outstanding work from both students and professionals representing colleges, universities, and creative agencies throughout the Lehigh Valley. This year’s celebration was held on March 5 at Cedar Crest College in Allentown.
Members of the Moravian University community were recognized across student, alumni, and professional faculty categories, highlighting the strength of the university’s creative programs and its active engagement with the regional design and advertising community.
The recognition underscores the impact of Moravian University’s creative community and the success of its students, alumni, and faculty in producing work that resonates within the professional design and advertising industries, says Camille Murphy, Moravian University associate professor of art and head of the graphic and interactive design track.
Student Award Winners:
- Dina Mohamed ’26 received two Silver ADDY Awards for work in the digital media categories “Apps, Online/Interactive, App (Mobile or Web-Based),” and “Blogs and Digital Publications.”
- Kaylyn Davis ’28 earned a Gold ADDY Award for a poster designed in Adjunct Professor Angela Kilburg’s class. Davis won in the category “Out-of-Home and Ambient Media—Poster.”
Alumni Award Winners:
- Tyler Komosinski ’25 received a Silver ADDY Award in the category “Online/Interactive, Websites.”
- Alexander Jacobson ’24 earned a Silver ADDY Award in the category “Special Event Materials (Printed or Digital), Self-Promotion Collateral.”
Faculty Award Winners:
- Camille Murphy, associate professor of art and head of the graphic and interactive design track, received a Gold ADDY Award in the category “Integrated Brand Identity Campaign—National Cross-Platform Integrated Campaigns.”
- Trey Adams ’21, adjunct professor of graphic and interactive design, received a Gold ADDY Award in the category “3D / Mixed Media—Single Unit.”
- Ted Colegrove ’07, adjunct professor of web design, received two Silver ADDY Awards: one in the category for “Still Photography —Campaign, Elements of Advertising, Visual” and another in the category for “Integrated Branded Content Campaign—Cross-Platform Integrated Campaigns.”
Gold ADDY winners advance to the next stage of the national ADDY Awards competition, organized by the American Advertising Federation, where they will compete with top entries from across the district.
Also celebrated that evening was a class collaboration with Moravian University Adjunct Professor of Graphic and Interactive Design, Tina Galbiati, and students in her Intro to Graphic Design course. Students in the class completed a semester-long nonprofit project with AAFGLV. Taras Kohut ’27, was selected as a student winner for his work on the nonprofit project. His work will be used as the foundation of the AAFGLV’s new marketing campaign and will be displayed on social media, as well as a billboard in the Lehigh Valley.
