Moravian University’s marketing and communications team received accolades from the College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals (CUPRAP) and the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP).
From AICUP, Moravian University was recognized as a Distinguished Communicator in the “Best Social Media” category for the Instagram post “3 Seniors Surprised with Letters from Their Mentors.” The AICUP Comm Awards spotlight the value of independent nonprofit higher education in Pennsylvania.

At CUPRAP’s annual CUPPIE Awards, Moravian University received recognition in several categories. The fall 2025 Moravian University Magazine earned honorable mention in the Outreach categories for both magazines and covers. Moravian University field hockey player Shawna Mamrak ’28 is featured on the cover.
In Writing, the long-form story “The Accidental Executive Producer” by Mike Zimmerman, featuring photos by Matthew Brush, received a silver award.

In the Print category, Moravian University received an honorable mention for the “Strategic Thinking Signage Poster Series.” In Visual Communication and Design, the feature photo “Festival of Color” also earned an honorable mention.
There were 405 entries from across the region in this year’s 19th annual CUPPIE Awards, presented in Lancaster on March 12. The awards recognize creative excellence in marketing and communications. All awards were for work completed in 2025.
