CG Spectrum is a globally operating firm offering specialized programs in virtual production, game development, animation, VFX, and digital painting

BETHLEHEM, PA – June 10, 2025– Today, Moravian University announced a groundbreaking partnership with CG Spectrum, a global leader in online education that delivers expert-level training and industry upskilling in animation, visual effects, digital arts, and game development. Moravian University and CG Spectrum will work together to develop online curricula and allow students from around the world to study at Moravian University.

As Moravian University continues to expand its academic offerings, both in-person and online, it looked closely at CG Spectrum projects, including the recently announced collaboration with Epic Games and their work to develop an innovative apprenticeship program, to imagine how a partnership with the U.S.-based university might take shape.

“Through this partnership, Moravian University students will gain hands-on experience and mentorship from professionals actively working in film, gaming, and digital arts, enhancing their career readiness and expanding their career opportunities,” said Bryon Grigsby, president of Moravian University. “We’re confident that this type of engagement can act as a blueprint for even more opportunities with other forward-thinking companies from the United States and abroad.”

This launch of online programs focused on game design and virtual production underscores Moravian University’s commitment to providing innovative and career-focused education, ensuring students have the skills and industry connections needed to thrive in a wide variety of career fields, including creative and digital media careers.

Launching in fall 2025, the first programs will include Game Design, 3D Modeling, and Concept Art, with additional specializations in development. Each course is designed to deliver practical skills, personalized mentorship, and industry connections, all fully online. Students will gain the experience and confidence to pursue careers as environment artists, game designers, concept artists, technical directors, and more.

For CG Spectrum, the collaboration marks an exciting step in expanding access to world-class creative training.

“This collaboration enhances accessibility by combining CG Spectrum’s cutting-edge curriculum and industry mentors with Moravian’s academic framework, giving students greater access to career-ready education,” said Jeremy Chinn, chief operating officer at CG Spectrum. “With 89% of CGS graduates now working in creative roles, we’re making world-class training in the creative industries more attainable than ever.”
