Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Bangor, Pennsylvania, which is about 35 minutes from Bethlehem, although, growing up and until I left for college, my life was based in Roseto, where I attended Faith Christian School. Did your high school graduating class have fewer than 15 students? Mine did, and I wouldn’t change that for anything in the world.

What is your role at the college?

I am responsible for maintaining an active and highly engaging presence across multiple social media platforms for Moravian College and our many departments, offices, and student organizations. This includes the traditional social media networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn, but also fun and emerging platforms like our new TikTok account! In addition, I am responsible for creating, developing, filming, and editing many short videos and photography projects as seen on the college YouTube account and website. Overall, my role at the college is to work closely with my colleagues within the Office of Marketing and Communications but also the student body, faculty, President’s Office, and alumni relations team (to name a few!) to professionally promote the accomplishments of Moravian College through social media. And I love it!

What’s one thing many of your colleagues don’t know about you?

I have an absurd number and variety of houseplants at my apartment, many of which I have grown from avocado pits or cuttings from larger plants. Seriously, I have a lot of plants. I am sharing this with you because I secretly hope to get more! There’s always room, right?

What is your favorite spot on campus?

Anywhere near or on South Campus, because it reminds me of the several years when I lived in Oxford, England. The scenery and building architecture are very similar. Plus, both are among the oldest and most reputable academic institutions in the world.

What is your favorite college tradition?

The Moravian Mile walk during orientation weekend in August. This tradition is a great way for freshmen students to be together as a class through downtown Bethlehem on a sunny summer’s day. It’s unique.

What is your favorite off-campus activity?

Eating great food and traveling frequently. There is always something new to taste or someplace different to explore. It keeps life interesting.

I can never resist a good _____.

Photo opportunity. It’s “all for the ’gram,” what can I say?

What is the best advice you have ever received?

“It’s never too early for ice cream.”—Michael Scott

What makes you happy?

Trying new craft hard ciders that I actually like. It’s shockingly hard to find good ones that aren’t overly sweet or lacking in flavor!
